FAPC Team Building

July 23, 2016, Team Building Organizer CDO by The Marshalls successfully facilitated another Team Building Activity for the Sales Team of Fast Autoworld Philippines Corp at Saddle Ridge Camp, Dahilayan.

The main objective of the activities we've prepared for today's team building was for each team to build their home out of the materials they get after completing each task. The team were grouped into 4 composed of 12-13 members. Each team were give the option to choose which task to perform first among the six tasks. Upon completing each task, they were again given an option to choose among 2 materials they can use for building their home. This activity alone would exercise the participant's approach in task priority which we can also relate on how they approach the tasks given to them at work. If they're going to work on the easiest task first or start on the difficult ones or if they approach the tasks based on level of priority.

Each task were tailored fit according to what the company wants to achieve at the end of the team building activity. Here are some photos during the team building.

And here are the finished product for each team's houses:

The activity was a success and everyone was able to complete the tasks given to them. Everyone enjoyed the activities we've prepared and they've had a share of their "aha" moment - realizations on teamwork, collaboration, communication and perseverance. They were amazed that they were able to do what they thought they could never do. They were able to prove amongst themselves that tasks are never difficult when you work together as a team.

Corbox Corporation's Team Building

July 9, 2016, Team Building Organizer CDO by The Marshalls successfully facilitated CorBox's Summer Outing Team Building Activity at Ajis Aqua Sports and Beach Resort.

The theme for today's event is Amazing Race to Win. But unlike any other amazing race activity, teams were given the option to choose which tasks to do first and which ones to do last to race to the finish. This activity alone would exercise the team's way of decision making in terms of task priority which we could also relate to when we are at work.

Each activity were tailored fit according to the company's mission and vision. And thus enhance the team's teamwork, creativity and communication in every task performed. Teams were divided into 4 groups composed of 12-14 members.

The Amazing Race started with a Chant/Paint me a Picture contest that would show the participants understanding of the company's mission and vision. The rest of the activities were divided into 6 stations.

At the start of the race, most of the teams chose the Obstacle Race as they find it as the most easiest task from the list and Fill Me Up as last because they don't want to get wet filling up the tub with sea water.

While some teams had a hard time completing the multiple relay due to the magic carpet ride, some took their time in making their CorBox Sand Castles.

The Sing and Dance For Me was the most entertaining of all. We would never forget the remarks of one of the participants saying "imong sayop, among sayop" (your fault, our fault) while doing the obstacle race challenge. It just mean to say that the participants see themselves as a team knowing that the performance of one member certainly affects the performance of the whole team.

But amidst all the challenges, the sand on their faces, the odd taste of the spices, everyone enjoyed the tasks and successfully completed all the activities on time.

Here are more pictures during the team building activity:

The Green team won the Amazing Race and the Sand Castle making while the Yellow Team won the Chant/Paint Me a Picture challenge.

Before the end of the event, we left the team with some points to ponder during the post activity discussion. That with integrity, teamwork, efficiency, a balance of quality and quantity in each members of the team, "the success of one is the success of all".

Philfund Team Building

February 6, 2016. Team Building Organizer CDO by The Marshalls facilitated another team building activity and this time it is for the Philfund Financing Company. The team building was held at Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

The participants were composed of 37 members divided into 5 groups and were from Philfund's different branches: Cagayan de Oro, Surigao, Butuan, Valencia and Malaybalay.

Since this is the company's first time to have their team building facilitated by an organizer, all the activities were new to them. The company's main goal is to enhance communication, team work and fellowship within its employees but at the same time have fun and take a break from all in a day's work.

Planning the team building was short and there were change of plans along the way, but the team were able to pull it off and everyone had fun during the Amazing Race Activity.

The amazing race had 5 pitstops which put to test how each participant handle the task and most importantly how they relate to their team members during the activity. All the activities were carefully chosen as their actions would reflect on how they are at work.

We were happy to see how all the teams displayed communication and camaraderie during the race as well as we have seen individuals who stepped up to lead the team in order to achieve each task.

We could not forget the participant's faces and how exhausted they were every time they arrive at each pitstop but for the name of the game, we were surprised at how energetic and excited they were to read and perform each task given to them.

The participants also learned a lot during their processing as each marshall have provided their inputs on how the participants were during the game and the qualities they demonstrated during the race.

The Blue team garnered the highest score from the Amazing Race and everyone enjoyed the entire night during their fellowship.

At the end of the day, the participants were left with words of widsom - "Collaborate to Dominate".
Anything can be achieved as long as we have good communication and camaraderie within the team.

P.T. Cerna Team Building

December 2, 2012. The P.T. Cerna Corporation had their Team Building at Dahilayan which again was organized by Team Building Organizer CDO by The Marshalls. The concept of their team building was a mix of the Amazing Race and Obstacle Course.

Teams were given different tasks to complete to reach a common goal. The team building's main goal was to promote team work, camaraderie, and communication beyond the indifference's of each employee. The company wanted strenuous type of activities for their employees and at the same time challenge their skills through strategy and implementation.

We had technicalities on some of the tasks during the race but we were happy to see how the team showed team work in performing all the tasks. They listened to one leader, followed instructions, as well as they were open to ideas and strategies from their team members.

The tasks were also a challenge of strength and agility as teams were tasked to go from one place to another and do strenuous tasks such as the obstacle course.

In the end, the team was able to understand the objective of their tasks during the processing as the given tasks were related to their work. The team had realizations like, 'sometimes in work we are not always given clear instructions, sometimes instructions are vague or unclear, and the best thing to do is ask', and 'sometimes we are too focus in finishing a task at work because we wanted to go home on time that we tend to forget to look into the details'.

In terms of finishing all the tasks, team Ranking were as follows:
1. Blue
2. Green
3. Yellow
4. Red
5. White

Lastly, we call each team as

  • Blue Team - The Fastest Team (finished the tasks fast)
  • White Team - The Coolest Team (coolest thinkers)
  • Yellow Team - The Verbose Team (equates feelings into words)
  • Red Team - The Strategist Team (strategize in every tasks)
  • Green Team - The Illimitable Team (does everything with no limits)

Inner Wheel Club District 385 Team Building

November 17, 2012. IWC or also known as the Inner Wheel Club had their District Rally/Team Building at Saddle Ridge  Camp in Dahilayan with which was organized by Team Building Organizer CDO by The Marshalls.

The concept of the team building was to build camaraderie and create a closer bond amongst the IWC members since this was their very first team building.

The group were separated into 3 groups and were given 4 consecutive tasks. The games were more of an obstacle course rather than that of the Amazing Race. The IWC ladies were very energetic and were a great sport performing the we've prepared for them.

True enough, after the activity, we are happy to see the ladies of Inner Wheel District 385 develop a closer bond with each other and at the same time build new friendship with their co-IWC member.  Lastly, they were able to realize that in spite their indifference's they can achieve one goal through effective participation and continuous communication. Cheers to IWC District 385!
